They say good things come in small packages, and today we’re going to see if that applies to cake.
Because I’ll be honest, I have my doubts. (More cake is always better, right?)

OH SNAP. A flower topper that’s the same size as the cake itself?! I’m officially starting to see the appeal of smaller Sweets.

I was tempted to base an entire Sweets post around this next one:

Now I want to stick cute unicorn heads and pudgy little feet on every one-tier cake I see.

There’s a new small cake trend out there that emphasizes a more abstract design, usually with colorful drips, flowers, and an assortment of pretty bits and bobs scattered around, like this:
