Happy last weekend of July!
How is that even possible?! Didn’t we just celebrate the 4th of July like, yesterday? Some of my friends that live in the south are already prepping to send their kids back to school next week. What! Craziness! I’m just happy that the nasty heat wave we were having here seems to have passed and it’s only going to be in the 70’s this weekend. This pregnant lady’s puffy feet don’t appreciate 90 degrees and high humidity!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

Samoa Icebox Cake – This amazing no-bake icebox cake features all of the classic flavors of Samoa cookies!
Spicy Cheese Bread – Say hello spicy cheese bread, a.k.a. the bread that disappeared within 24 hours! This recipe makes a huge loaf of a rich brioche-like bread loaded with provolone and Monterey Jack cheeses, and speckled with crushed red pepper flakes.
Slow Cooker BBQ Brisket – This slow cooker beef brisket is incredibly easy, cooks itself, and full of flavor thanks to the simple homemade barbecue sauce!
BEB Favorites: July 2016 – A quick list of some of the things that I’ve been loving lately!
Friday Things – 18 months, 30 weeks, popcorn, Montreal, Olympics, and more!
