Happy official/unofficial last weekend of summer to you!
I absolutely, positively cannot believe that Monday is September 1st. It feels like our week at the beach at the beginning of May was just yesterday. What a whirlwind summer it’s been! The week after we got back from that vacation, I found out I was pregnant, and then, boom! All of a sudden it’s Labor Day weekend. I’m so thankful for the fabulous weather we’ve enjoyed this summer – it didn’t hit 90 once here! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the summer, and now I’m ready for my favorite time of year – cool, crisp air, hoodies, football, hockey, apples, pumpkin, cinnamon, and all the best flavors of the fall season!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
Apple Half Slab Pie (Chocolate Moosey)
My grandma always made apple pies in sheet pans, and this so reminded me of her! I need to make one!
Chorizo Queso (Gimme Some Oven)
This is perfect for football Sundays in the fall!
Coconut Cream Pie Bars (Bake or Break)
These might look even BETTER than an actual coconut cream pie. Want.
Homemade Snickers Cups (Erren’s Kitchen)
Oh my goodness! I want to jump into the kitchen and make these immediately.
Roasted Corn & Poblano Risotto (Spoon Fork Bacon)
Risotto always reminds me of the fall and winter, and this is a new-to-me variation that sounds so warm and cozy.
Have a delicious weekend!
